The Industrial Section in the Heart of the Park

Operators of the industrial park’s terminal facility manage more than 900 port calls annually and transported goods totalling approx. 2 million tons on an annual basis. RIT handles and stores goods on a short-term basis at sites such as the re-bar storage depot. ![]() xxx
There are large areas available to start-up enterprises near the harbour. South of the docks, a future site for commercial space will result in further expansion of the park area.

Here are the main installations housing the processing and workshop industries and much of the Park’s infrastructure.
The Old Laboratory

The large IT-related enterprises are located in the north-western corner of the park. Molab is also situated here in a new building while the old lab building has been renovated for such tenants as the Helgeland Knowledge Park.

THE STIGER PLATEAU
A centre for transport and recycling facilities
Enterprises specializing in transport, asphalt, workshops and outdoor environment/recycling.
The abandoned mine shafts at Mofjellet Gruber are being utilised as environmentally secure storage depots.
The Port Facility
On the threshold between the Park and the city of Rana.
Here old slag dump sites have become new lots and green zones. Several office and commercial buildings have already sprung up among the landscape.
The Harbour Area
The gateway to all markets and the world.
The Rana Industrial Terminal manages one of Norway’s busiest and most efficient terminal facilities. There are also large areas available to start-up enterprises here. South of the docks, a future site for commercial space will result in further expansion of the park area.
