These large processing and technology companies are the chief owners of Mo Industripark AS, which in turn is the parent company of Rana Industriterminal AS (100%) and Mo Fjernvarme AS (60%).
Mo Industrial Park AS
Five Operations Divisions:
• The Property division manages the maintenance and development of buildings, roads, and storage depots.
• The Energy division produces oxygen, nitrogen and compressed air and distributes a variety of gases among the park’s tenant enterprises. Also included here is the water works for both the park and the city, Svabo Power Works.
• Kraftnett is the division that maintains the park’s electrical power grid, and also functions as an independent concession.
• The Service division is responsible for the park’s switchboard, port system, postal services/archives, wideband and information.
• The Security division manages the security in the industrial park, with a fire station and a centre of short time education.
Rana Industrial Terminal AS (RIT)
Operators of the industrial park’s terminal facility manage more than 900 port calls annually and transported goods totalling approx. 2 million tons on an annual basis. RIT handles and stores goods on a short-term basis at sites such as the re-bar storage depot.
Mo Fjernvarme AS
A remote heating facility that utilises excess heat from the industrial sector for heating of buildings and facilities in the park and in downtown Mo i Rana.
